Brighton Pavilion Gardens

This was a bandstand concert with a difference. There was no bandstand. Sponsored by Brighton and Hove City Council, we were originally to have played on the Pavilion Lawns, but the recent rain made them too soft for our liking, and we moved to the patio of the Pavilion Cafe.

The last spate of rain came as we were about to set up, but after that, sunshine broke through and we had an enthusiastic response from Brighton and its visitors.
