Bacchus welcomes players who are of grade 8+ standard.
However, we do endeavour to maintain a good balance of sound across the orchestra, and as a result, we usually only have limited player vacancies.
At the moment, we do need more percussionists and saxophonists!
For other instruments, we currently have just a few vacancies but we still want to hear from you, as we like to maintain an up-to-date list of reserve players.
Potential players are invited to join us for a rehearsal, where their playing standard can be assessed and they can decide if they like Bacchus. Even if you do not then join us, we can often put you in touch with other orchestras and bands in the surrounding area.
